Welcome to
"everything goes somewhere"

Introduction: Located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, ECO-NOMIC has managed the environmental assessment and remediation of a wide range of properties over the last thirty years. Besides publishing standard phase 1 and phase 2 environmental reports, our scope of work has included forensic site reconstruction, chemical cleanup of a range of commercial and industrial sites, plus cleanups of municipal and state public lands, irrigated farms, and railway properties. We perform environmental assessment and cleanups of municipal properties, and high risk properties such as public parks, and even former military and defense sites (FUDS). Few tasks in the environmental field are beyond the scope of our company and our associated experts.
Besides environmental work, ECO-NOMIC designs standard and alternative septic systems for environmentally sensitive sites, specializing in high-end resorts.
How We Work: We at ECO-NOMIC favor the conservative approach to environmental assessment and remediation projects.
Problems arise when environmental decisions are made by people who don't know, dismiss, or defer certain environmental risks including the costs of correction. There are many tools available to help understand environmental risks. One of the best tools is experience learned by performing a wide range of environmental cleanups. Thirty years of performing a wide range of cleanuos has given us that experience. Our goal is finding permanent solutions to environmental problems thus erasing them from concern.
The Challenge: In spite of the range of environmental issues in the news today, including impacts from our changing climate, most people can not name a single ecosystem. This is in spite of us all living in and interacting with ecosystems daily. The environmental field is still a relatively new area for most.

Where We Work: Located between Seattle and Spokane, the Columbia River Basin is the State's food production and food storage and more lately a data storage headquarters with server farms here for the low cost and renewable hydro power.
The Hanford Site where the plutonium production facility for the Manhattan Project was built in 1943 is forty miles south of our office. The Grand Coulee Dam is fifty miles north of here. The Columbia Basin is also a playground with all the recreational delights that one would expect to find in a world class resort set in the grand landscape of the inland Pacific Northwest.
Eco-nomic has broad experience dealling with the environmental issues associated with the historic industries and more recent industrial growth here in central Washington State.
